PROGRAM DIRECTOR:

Jason Sisneros is a college soccer recruitment professional who has spent decades working with soccer players and families around the world. He was a standout youth, high school, and collegiate soccer player in Washington State, where he also began coaching community service camps and local club teams at age fifteen.

After finishing his college and semi-professional playing career, Jason headed to North Carolina to work with one of his long-time coaching mentors, Anson Dorrance. In five seasons with the University of North Carolina women’s soccer program, Jason served as an assistant coach, recruiting coordinator, and director of match analysis. He helped the Tar Heels win the 2012 NCAA National Championship, 2013 ACC Conference Championship, make multiple ACC Tournament Championship appearances, and a record-setting 27th appearance in the 2016 College Cup.

While working with the women’s varsity team, Jason also spent a brief stint as head coach of the men’s club soccer team at UNC. In 2014, he and a core group of players from the men’s club team formed the semi-professional team, Brigade FC. Jason coached Brigade FC to the 2014 USASA Region III Championship, winning the prestigious, and oldest soccer tournament in the country, Werner Fricker Cup. The team later finished third in the 2015 USASA National Championships and competed in the Lamar Hunt US Open Cup later that year.

Following his success at the University of North Carolina and Brigade FC Jason turned his focus toward his vision of a college soccer guidance program. That vision became Rising Star Academy. Since its inception in 2016, Rising Star Academy has helped hundreds of players from nearly every continent around the world achieve their dreams of playing college soccer. In total, Rising Star alumni have received millions of dollars in athletic and academic scholarships, won championships and individual accolades – and most importantly they have attained their college degrees.

In his role with Juventus Academy Jason said, “I could not be more excited to work with the players, families, and staff of Juventus Academy. This is a professional organization committed to the success of its players on and off the field. I completely agree with those values and our college program will support our players and families on every step of their path to college.”

Of the importance of the college program, he added, “Our kids are future parents, teachers, coaches, business and community leaders. The opportunity to receive a college education, while continuing to compete in the sport they love is incredibly valuable. From my experience, I am deeply grateful to those who helped me go for my dreams and I will continue to support future generations as they go for theirs.”
